DASH Releases New WSCC Products
CDC's Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) is pleased to share the release of new Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) products. These products include interactive web pages, an animated video, and flipbook. These visual translations of the WSCC model can be used to engage health, education and school-based partners to strengthen implementation of the WSCC model.
These products are designed for use by various audiences, including educators, public health professionals and youth-serving organizations.
WSCC Interactive Web Pages
The interactive web pages include a general overview of the WSCC model, WSCC fact sheet, and highlights the six school components of the model that apply directly to DASH's work.
WSCC Video
The WSCC animated video demonstrates how implementing the model affects adolescents throughout their school day, at home, and in their community.
WSCC Flipbook
The digital WSCC flipbook demonstrates how DASH and CDC partners leverage the WSCC model in their youth-focused efforts to prevent HIV and STDs.
What You Can Do
We hope you will use and share these WSCC-related products to advance DASH's mission to promote environments where adolescents can gain health knowledge and skills, establish healthy behaviors, connect to health services, and avoid becoming pregnant or infected with HIV or STDs.
  • Start a conversation and share these products with colleagues on social media using #WSCC and retweet WSCC-related content from the @CDC_DASH Twitter account.
